The heart of Güstrower system is the unique scraper chain material delivery system. Unlike a conventional belt, material cannot slip on the scrapers surface nor due to its positive sprocket drive chain slip like a rubber belt on its drive pulley. This leads to accuracy levels of +/- 1 to 2% after calibration, not only that, but the chain can handle lumpy and poor quality material. The chains action breaks up the material and ensuring an even feed, for the really tough stuff an optional powered crumble roller can also be fitted. With only four bearings for the entire chain, and the chains to deal with foreign object without damage, it offers a long and reliable service lifetime with minimal maintenance. The chain is driven via a heavy duty reduction gear box by the tractors hydraulic system, speed is monitored and controlled by the electronic control unit, and regulated according to a speed sensor on the spreaders wheel.

The Güstrower's key to high accuracy is the hydraulically driven constant speed twin disc spreading unit. Flow of material is guided onto the exact part of the discs to ensure even and accurate application by stainless steel adjustable guides, the settings are made from spreading tables provided for each type of material. Spread patterns are calibrated at the independent testing facility in Bygholm, Denmark. Key to maintaining accurate spread patterns in the field is an exact disc speed. Conventional mechanical transmission systems vary with tractor engine rev's, a big problem when spreading with a heavy machine on hilly terrain. The Güstrower has an independent hydraulic system, PTO driven, which automatically maintains an exact disc speed even if the input tractors PTO speed increases or decreases. The high power hydraulic motor drives the discs via a twin gearbox system maintain disc timing even under heavy load.

Güstrower chaser bin offer:

• Three models with capacities of 16,20 & 25 tons.
• High capacity unloading auger with full length hopper auger both driven by the tractor PTO with discharge rates of 9 cubic meters per minute (7 ton/min wheat).

• Folding discharge auger with up to 4.67 m discharge height and accurate flow of discharge from the steel chute aids loading especially in windy conditions.

The Güstrower chaser bins offer a cost effective solution to increase efficiency with modern large capacity combines. Not only that, but to increase productivity still further all models are also equipped to operate with both fertilizer and seed corn to increase efficiency post harvest when transporting seed to large drills and also in spring and summer to speed up the fertilizer spreading season. As standard, all models are fitted with internal hydraulically adjusted slides which can fully close the entire length of the hopper auger to give precise control of material transfer speeds. The full length hopper auger and tipping auger are driven by the tractors pto at either 1000 rpm for maximum transfer speed or 540 rpm when used for drill and spreader filling. A full length opening door underneath the hoppers auger allows for complete emptying and easy cleaning between different materials and at the end of the season.

The Güstrower's are built with strength and durability in mind, heavy duty chassis and axles, multi axle models also have spring suspension and steering axle to minimize ground damage, tire wear and minimize tractor size required to operate the units effectively. Large diameter low ground pressure tires keep the machine moving even in the wettest conditions and efficient hydraulic or no cost option air brakes stop everything safely. The tractor driver can easily monitor the loading and unloading operation through clear windows in the front to the hopper, optional internal CCTV and lightning can also be specified to improve this. External indicators show the position of the internal hydraulic slides and all major drive components are simple and easily accessible for routine maintenance. A low center of gravity keeps the machines stable and gives a maximum width of 2.8 meters on standard tires, ideal on narrow lanes.
